The road to success is a long, winding, rocky road scattered with broken hearts, broken dreams and broken promises. There will be unexpected victories and great achievements but it takes vision, sheer guts, hard work and supernatural determination to reach your goals.

Focus on your business. Then do do the paperwork. Make the money, build your business, then worry about the documents

Nothing can prepare you for the loss of your dad. Nothing can it make it better for the first few months. You will lose yourself, you will be shattered. But in the end you will be okay.

You have so much to be grateful for in your life. For a long time, I wanted to vomit when someone told me that. My first question would be grateful for what? Grateful for not having enough money? Grateful for living for pay check to pay check? Grateful for life’s disappointments? And so, I could list everything I wasn’t grateful for because life really sucks at times....

Losing my dad, my home and my income in one year brought me to this place called rock bottom. Having to uproot my children and take them away from all that was familiar to them was heartbreaking. Not being able to afford even the most basic things was a new low that I’ve never experienced before. Seeing the despair and the hopelessness of my husband was like dying a painful quiet death every day.

I lost my home, my income and my dad in one year and I thought I would not survive. Then having to start all over again from scratch with absolutely nothing was another blow. I was battling really hard to make sense of it and had to dig deep to find answers. Through the pain and the anger I learnt some very valuable lessons that helped to move forward, not in giant leaps but in tiny baby steps.
