God has left the church a long time ago. Too many churches are devoid of spirituality and focus purely on religion and your money. To those churches where God is the focus, thank you for being true to Spirit of Christ and helping those in need.

Some churches have become a breeding ground for lies and deceit where you’re not only burdened financially but also made to believe that paying money to a useless pastor will enhance your chances of your prayers being answered. That is absolute rubbish. We are being fed lies because we are too lazy to find the truth about Christ out for ourselves It’s much easier to source our power out to a pastor, than to take responsibility and build a relationship with God. In that way when things don’t work out you can always blame the pastor or the church.

The souls of people are hungry for inspiration, encouragement, hope, truth and the right teaching. But too many churches have become a battleground for your money, your sanity and exclusive rights to your faith.

The basis of Christianity is love coupled with faith. But Christianity has become synonymous with hatred, condemnation, judgement and intolerance. Some of the vilest, most judgemental, most critical people call themselves Christians. You will find then in church every Sunday, praising a God they hardly know while they are drowning in their own bitterness; and nurturing their hatred for anyone who dares to oppose them or dares to be different. They are the Bible bashing crowd who knows every scripture of condemnation, who destroys your soul within seconds, who can tell you in detail about how God will punish you for your sins and can tell you with relish how you're preparing your way to hell. But when asked about the love of Christ, the peace it brings to serve God, the joy you can find in Him and the compassion Jesus taught, they become clueless. The simple reason being that you can’t explain something you know nothing about.

The Bible is a powerful book that is an exact reflection of where you are in your life. If you are full of condemnation, self-loathing and self hatred you will find scripture that will only speak to that. If you are searching for love and self-acceptance, if you are seeking the true living Christ you will find scriptures that will provide you with the answers. The Bible shows you exactly who and what you have become.

For too long the Bible has been used by evil people to further their own cruel heartless agenda to inflict pain, misery, guilt and judgement on others. For too long the Bible has been a source of despair for those who need encouragement the most. And Christians are in many cases to be blamed for this. One single verse in a chapter is being taken to be misused and twisted by a so-called man of God, to serve his own selfish purpose and agenda. Instead of serving God self-serving pastors compare themselves to God. They do the most abdominal acts in the name of God and still have the audacity to pretend that they are serving the Lord. These disgusting men and women do not deserve to be respected or revered in any way.

How can you serve and pray to a person who’s just like you? How can you put an ordinary human being on a pedestal and trust him with everything you were supposed to trust God with? What does that say about you?

God has been misrepresented by the very people who claim to stand for him. And that is the sad truth. How many people carry scars their entire lives because of the treatment they received in church? How many people are walking around broken and shattered because they were denied entrance to the very place where they were supposed to find healing? How many people turn away from God because instead of guidance, support and love they received rejection, hatred and condemnation? Being a Christian doesn’t give you a license to hurt, maim, destroy and trample on another person’s heart and feelings. And it doesn’t give you exclusive right to judge.

Being Christian gives you a license to be kind, patient, in touch with God. We should tell people more about the goodness, the love, the forgiveness of God, not preach by preaching but by how we live our lives. We should be more tolerant and give people hope by telling them about the true Christ. You know the Christ who said He is the way, the truth and the life, the Christ who said that He has come we can have life in abundance. That’s the Christ I’m talking about.

Christ doesn’t want perfection, He just needs a hungry seeking heart that’s willing to surrender. No qualifications or money required. All He needs is prayer and trust in Him.

Christ is all about faith. He performed miracles and brought healing to countless people. And He never ever condemned, even when it was expected of Him. So, what gives you the right to condemn? Through Him we have this incredible powerful weapon, called faith, which will make absolutely no sense to someone who doesn’t believe. Yet even non-believers practice faith without even realising it.

Too many Christians have been made to believe that only the chosen ones have access to God, that only a selected few can make the earth move with their prayers. Nothing could be further from the truth. We all have the power and the ability to make things happen when we pray in faith. Jesus confirmed this when He told His disciples that those who believe in Him will do even greater things than Him.

But we chose to believe in a pastor or a person more than in the living Christ, and we wonder why things fall apart in the end. Yet, when that same pastor disappoint, hurt or discard you, suddenly the church is all bad.  You chose to trust in a man rather than in God.

We have immense power at our disposal that can be unlocked if we believe in Christ. If we can start believing in the power of the most High God, Creator of all things, we can move mountains. We are called believers, yet we believe everything except the good news of God.

It is time for Christians to stand up and say not in our name. It is time that we stop promoting our own selfish agendas and start representing God in truth and in kindness. It is time for us to start reminding the world about the love and the goodness and kindness of the Lord. It is time to stop allowing ourselves to be tricked, fooled and blinded by greedy wolf pastors dressed up as sheep. Let us pray for a spirit of discernment so no one has to die drinking Jik, or made a fool of by eating grass.

We need to be taught how to believe as faith comes by believing.

Let us start searching the truth about God with humility, love and patience. Let us look to God and God alone to give us strength and wisdom. And let’s be willing to learn from each other as Christians.

It’s time to look at ourselves and ask where have we gone wrong in serving God, and how do we rectify it. It’s time to open ourselves to God completely and surrender to him wholeheartedly. And let us stop being the cause of another person’s pain. And stop worshipping fake pastors with their evil agendas.
